By accessing this website, submitting an application, enrolling in a program, or participating in any OptoSom Academy offering, you agree to the following terms.

All website content, program content, lectures, discussions, recordings, written materials, and related materials are provided for informational and professional-development purposes only. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, regulatory, financial, business, or professional advice.

OptoSom Academy does not provide medical care, psychotherapy, clinical supervision, legal advice, regulatory advice, prescribing services, controlled-substance services, or patient referrals.

Participation in OptoSom Academy does not create a physician-patient, therapist-client, supervisory, fiduciary, employment, academic-affiliation, credentialing, or other professional relationship.

Completion of any program, including receipt of any Certificate of Completion, does not confer licensure, professional certification, board certification, academic credit, continuing-education credit, prescribing authority, DEA registration, clinical privileges, clinical competence, employment eligibility, reimbursement eligibility, or authorization to administer, facilitate, recommend, or provide psychedelic-assisted therapy, investigational drugs, controlled substances, or other medical or mental-health treatment.

Any Certificate of Completion issued by OptoSom Academy confirms only that the participant completed designated educational requirements. It is not a license, clinical credential, professional certification, board certification, academic degree, or authorization to practice medicine, psychotherapy, psychedelic-assisted therapy, or any other regulated health service.

Discussion of investigational products, clinical trials, expanded access, psychedelic medicine, or emerging care models is for educational purposes only and does not represent a recommendation, referral, offer, authorization, or instruction to obtain, prescribe, administer, facilitate, or provide any investigational drug, controlled substance, psychedelic therapy, or medical treatment.

Participants remain solely responsible for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws; professional licensing rules; DEA requirements; FDA requirements; institutional policies; IRB requirements; standards of care; and professional obligations.

OptoSom Academy is not a state psilocybin facilitator training program, natural-medicine facilitator training program, licensure pathway, clinical placement program, or authorization pathway unless expressly stated in writing for a specific jurisdiction.

Faculty, guest speakers, and advisors may participate in their individual capacities unless expressly stated otherwise. References to academic, clinical, institutional, or research affiliations are for identification only and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, accreditation, approval, or authorization by any university, hospital, research sponsor, government agency, regulator, or professional body.

They may not be copied, recorded, distributed, reproduced, published, modified, sold, reused, used to train artificial-intelligence systems, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

OptoSom, Inc. makes no guarantee of employment, clinical placement, referrals, reimbursement, business outcomes, licensure outcomes, regulatory outcomes, investment outcomes, academic credit, continuing-education credit, or eligibility to participate in clinical trials or treatment programs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OptoSom, Inc. disclaims liability arising from use of this website, reliance on program content, or participation in any program. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the website or participation in OptoSom Academy after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
